Great week on the sailing boat
We spent a great week on the sailing boat. GlobeSailor and the charter company are both very professional teams - the initial reservation, email exchanges and signing all papers in the marina were very quick and efficient. Renter upgraded the boat to Elan 45, a slightly bigger one that added comfort. Andreas is a great captain, he knew the boat and the area very well, and gave a lot of useful advices. Alimos is a good base, the closest marina to Athens, with all necessary amenities nearby. Saronic Gulf is a great area for a leisurely sailing, with a few nice islands with wonderful sights. I greatly recommend both GlobeSailor and the renter and will come back to them for future sailing holidays in Greece.

Good boat for traveling with friends
We had fantastic trip in Saronic bay with my 4 friends. The boat is very comfortable, ergonomic and fast. There is a lot of space inside. Boat has both sails furling. I don't like furling main sails. But we had no choice. Furling sails are meant to be simple, But in fact you have to be very careful with them because if you are not - they jam. At some moment we have jammed our main sail and had to climb to the mast, to manually unfurl it. It happened when we tried to "take some reefs" on fresh wind, so our sail has completely stuck in a middle position. We are lucky that it happened in overall good weather near the shore, so we have found nearby calm bay to recover. You need to be very careful with furling main. It only looks easy. There was some engine oil leak, so we had to control it every day during engine checks. We have found it on day one, but personel just cleaned oil and said it is "ok". But the leak was constant and did not look nice. After all company personnel admitted this problem (gasket needed replacement) during our return to base and promised to solve it. Overall - very good condition... for Elan.

Break total avec les enfants
Charter très pro. Une responsable a géré le dossier de bout en bout, et fais preuve d’une disponibilité à toute épreuve. Elle est par ailleurs très sympa. La marina est un énorme hub. On aime ou on aime pas…mais ça a le mérite d’être très pratique en termes d’orga. Bateau bien, adapté pour le format qui était le nôtre (mes 2 enfants, notre skipper et moi-même). Parcours nav : classique golf saronique (Poros, Hydra, Spetses, Ermioni, etc…)…simple mais efficace (1 nuit au port pour 2 mouillages sauvages),
Lefkada
Die Insel Lefkada befindet sich im Ionischen Meer und ist ein idealer Zwischenstopp während Ihrer Kreuzfahrt in Griechenland. Der Hafen von Lefkada, der um die 600 Boote unterbringen kann, ist im nördlichen Teil von der Meeresenge von Lefkas geschützt. Sie können also mühelos anlegen und die lokalen Spezialitäten in einem der vielen Restaurants probieren. Lefkada ist ein sehr geschätzter Zielort für eine Kreuzfahrt, denn die Insel bietet Aktivitäten für jedermann: Partygänger können dort feiern, dWindsurfer finden Ihren Sport und selbst die Faulenzer können sich an den herrlichen Sandstränden entspannen. Warten Sie nicht länger, werfen Sie den Anker in Lefkada!
